Today I meet a favorite philosopher of mine. I've been looking forward to this for months now and I hope that I don't come off as an idiot.
Here are some pictures from yesterday's exploration. After my meeting today, I'll be going to the Eagle & Child pub, where the Inklings met!

You are coming home, right?!
ReplyDeleteOkay, what is an Inkling? And do we want to meet them?
How was the meeting?

Sometimes, I wonder if I'm coming home. England feels like home, actually.
ReplyDeleteThe Inklings were C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and their friends, and they have all passed on, so I don't think I shall be meeting them anytime soon.
The meeting was wonderful, encouraging, helpful, and... surreal.
